has a fully developed script and secured access to the Great North Synagogue where the film can be shot at a genuine Mikvah creating authenticity for this drama to unfold. Importantly this rare insight into Orthodox Woman and their preparations when considered impure. Its an interesting exploration of the Rabbinical Laws that could be said to enslave women into rituals that control every part of female life, even sexually. Alicia, Writer / Director having been an Orthodox Jewish woman was involved in an arranged marriage which adds to this dynamic of examining female impurity.

The theme developed from Alicia's experience in the Orthodox Religion & presently living close to Stamford Hill in North London inspired the concept for an exhibition about the diversity of the growing population called 'London Blews' which is an up & coming exhibition of film & photography in reference to the Black community & the Jewish one who live side by side in North London peacefully.
Additionally from visiting & participating in the UK Jewish Film Festival & FilmLab which help develop new talent. Alicia and Michael met during the pitching session at FilmLab & connected their Production Companies to create, develop, and produce Bloody Jews. This kind of gathering of like minded people, inspires & connects the Jewish Community in new ways. This encouraging dynamic has pushed this unique and interesting short drama to the next level.
