This challenging dramatic role allows Milli to draw on her own experiences as a young Jewish woman who has lived with Orthodox Jewish women, when she lived in a Jewish women's Refuge. that experience was in fact developed into a short documentary (see www.filmgold.wix.com/reallives) award winning film at the Open Door Festival.
Using Drama to portray the 'Laws of Niddah' (which is the female menstrual cycle) is rarely discussed & creates a forum whereby this sensitive subject matter can be conveyed in an interesting informative way to a wide demographic achieving a platform for self awareness & women's phisiology for both men and women, & what that means in terms of jewish ideology.
